When I sit down to write these forecasts, I’m going in fresh – every transit and aspect is brand new, and the downloads come stronger and harder as I write. Whether it be for a general, cosmically quiet Thursday, or because there are planets chasing each other around the sky, there is always so much to be learnt in the writing of these. And writing this weeks, is huge. There are so many aligning energies in the lead up to our first Eclipse of the year – Venus conjunctions with visionary Neptune, and expansive Jupiter in spiritual Pisces, right before and during a New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Taurus, which is ruled by Venus? Plus, transformative Pluto hitting retrograde at the same time? As we also hit Samhain (in the Southern Hemisphere)? I’m not saying this week, or this month, or Eclipse season is going to be easy, by any means, but the potential for growth, healing, transformation, and change is ENORMOUS. Does that mean you have to buy in and do the work? Of course not, at the end of the day, your choices are still your own, but awareness is key – you may be forced into some of these changes and growth, regardless of your intentions.

Monday 25th: Of course I’m late again, so Monday is a bit been and gone. Turns out I’m sitting here writing this during a Void of Course Moon too, so we’ll see how it goes – short, sharp and shiny is the plan! Moon is Void today from 1003 – 1945* before it enters as Waning Moon in Pisces, kick starting our week with rest, retreat, and trusting our intuition.
Tuesday 26th: Today see’s Venus in Pisces getting cosy with the North Node in Taurus. Here, we’re being reminded to love and honour ourselves, before we enter into the upcoming eclipse season. Venus rules Taurus too, so recognising that this portal of transformation is going to be pushing towards what, how and who we love and how that connects to our destinies is going to be important.
Wednesday 27th: Mercury in Taurus hits a cosy aspect with Jupiter in Pisces today. With the Moon also in Pisces, we are really honouring our intuition today, using it for growth and expansion, and trusting Mercury, the planet of travel and communication, to guide us forward with the stability of Taurus. Analysing charts, comparing the current Nodes, Venus and Taurus/Scorpio aspects, in conjunction with our own natal Nodes, Venus and Taurus/Scorpio aspects will guide you forward through these eclipses too. Thursday 28th: The Moon was void overnight, for two and a half hours, until 0139*, when it entered Aries. The most important energy today, however, is Venus conjunct Neptune in Pisces. Coming back to those visions of what we love, how we love and who we love, and honouring our intuition in these matters, this is the day to really trust an analyse any dreams you recall, or to focus on lucid dreaming in general.
Friday 29th: Friday, Venus day, the perfect day to review finances, especially as the Sun, Waning Moon and North Node are all converging in Taurus. I know I said this last week, when the Moon was waning in Capricorn, but we should definitely be checking our budgets weekly, and the upcoming Eclipse with our North Node of future destiny in stable, structured, and Venus-ruled Taurus is an amazing opportunity to review those finances with a vision (yesterdays Venus-Neptune conjunction) to how we want our lives to look, financially.
Saturday 30th: After what has likely been a relatively smooth couple of months, our period of retrograde avoidance is over – Pluto goes retrograde in Capricorn today. Now this isn’t to say that things are going to go bad (personally I hate the narrative of retrograde=bad, you probably have stacks of retrograde planets in your own natal chart, and planets go retrograde in our skies constantly, it’s a part of the ebbs and flows of life). Pluto is the planet of transformation, and in retrograde calls for deep psychological shifts. Trust your intuition and be wiling to let go of what’s not working, particularly in your work and future plans – synchronous with this eclipse season, no? Also, Moon is void in the morning, 0708-0948*, when it enters Taurus, and Mercury enters Gemini, which is just LOVES, so get ready to get chatty and social over the next few weeks.
Sunday 1st of May: Happy May Day (NH) and Samhain (SH – traditional dates)! Also, happy New Moon in Taurus, and happy Solar Eclipse! Busy, busy busy day! Big energies! If you are a moon water-maker, or like charging your tools under the New Moon, make sure you put them outside last night. Some occultists will caution you against this during eclipses, but if it feels right for you, go ahead! Especially if it’s done with all your eclipse season intents in mind. Speaking of, New Moon, New Month, New Manifestations! Today is the day to pull those cards, journal those prompts, set those intentions, and do whatever else suits your New Moon in Taurus rituals. Venus and Jupiter are conjunct in Pisces today too! So soon after our Venus-Neptune conjunction, this signals so much opportunity for love, growth, and financial expansion – do not hold back on your intentions today!

Tarot card for the week: Judgement
Judgement calls for change. Traditionally we see figures rising up from the grave, to an angel on high, but who will cross over? What deeds have been done, and what is being analysed for this next part of the journey? And who is doing the judging? Is it some external deity or force, or is it internal? The judge, jury and executioner we carry within, and judge ourselves with? Regardless, the past is the past, and the future is where we are headed. This hand is liberated, unbound and free, ready to catch whatever stars may rain down upon it. The symbol for Pluto is tattooed upon it. Transformation is nigh.
