I had something exciting happen this week! Those following me on Instagram will have seen, that nearly two years after the birth of my girls, my menstrual cycle has returned! I know that for many of you (as at this point, all my subscribers are menstruaters), this isn’t the sort of thing that would cause excitement – for so many, our menstrual cycles are painful and downright sh*tty – I’m just so passionate that it doesn’t have to be this way for us, and I’m excited to see where this goes for me!

Ok, back to our regularly scheduled program of Astrological insights and forecasting! The moon is waning all week, through Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius, after this re-balancing Full Moon in Libra; it’s our last few days of Aries season, with the Sun entering earth-y Taurus on Wednesday, and; Mercury makes a stack of angles this week, drawing attention to how and what we communicate.
Monday 18th: I hope that you are enjoying your quiet, long weekend today – just what we need after the Libra Full Moon! The Moon in Scorpio is highlighting the need to trust our intuition as we rebalance today. Meditation, yoga, tarot, etc, are all your friend at this time. Mercury in Taurus makes a cosy angle with Venus in Pisces today (can improve communication with loved ones), then conjoins Uranus in Taurus (unique and innovative ideas abound today!) Then later, Venus cosies up to that same Uranus (those innovative ideas could be about money, or love).
Tuesday 19th: Early this morning, the Sun in Aries squares off against Pluto in Capricorn – tough changes may rise to the surface and demand to be noticed today. The moon is void for 2hrs 22 min from 0924* until the Moon enters Sagittarius at 1146*, showing us that sometimes, balance isn’t just about taking things away, but reaching forward and adding something. If you’ve been feeling a lack of balance, over the next few days, consider what you can ADD to your life, rather than remove.
Wednesday 20th: And just like that, Aries season is over, as the Sun moves into Taurus at 1154*. This feels like a great time to remind you all that birth time matters! We know how important it is for rising signs, but persons born around the ‘cusp’ of two signs, often consider themselves to be a bit of both. Personally, I don’t believe in this. If you’re born at 1152* today, you’re an Aries, if you’re born at 1155*, you’re a Taurus – the Sun is never in two signs at once! What do you think about this? Agree, disagree? Thursday 21st: This morning starts with a Void of Course Moon from 0625 – 1322*, that’s 6hrs 37 min of down time on this first Thursday in Taurus. Use this time to get outside and ground. Taurus is arguably the most stable and secure sign of the zodiac, so channeling that energy today, especially during this long void moon, is a perfect way to kick it off. Friday 22nd: The Waning Moon is in Capricorn on this Venus-day in Taurus – earth energy continues to abound! What better day to review your finances and budget, to analyse the household comings and goings, than when we’re releasing and reviewing with the help of future-focused Capricorn?
Saturday 23rd: Saturn-day with the Moon in Capricorn is a fantastic morning for your productivity, before a 2hr 25min Void Moon from 1322-1547*, when the Moon will enter Aquarius for the last quarter moon tonight. Trust your gut, and find ways to give back to community today.
Sunday 24th: Mercury conjoins the North Node in Taurus today, which is calling me to tell you that eclipse season is starting! The ‘Nodes of Fate’, the North and South Nodes, or node of future destiny, and node of past karma respectively, are currently in Taurus and Scorpio, and the eclipses we’ll be seeing and experiencing this year, as the Sun and Moon pass over and make aspects with them, are really going to force changes we’ve been avoiding, and supercharge transformation. These two signs, Taurus and Scorpio, are fixed signs, and can resist change, so prepare to get uncomfortable, all in the name of growth! The first eclipse is next week!
