Tools of the Spiritual Homemaker –

Welcome to this journaling challenge!

This challenge had been put together to help you create 10-15 minutes in your day, every day, for a few moments of deliberate mindfulness, and a slow-down from the craziness of motherhood. This, mama, is your first steps to putting yourself first.

Each day will add one tool to your mindful, journaling toolkit, from astrology, to crystals and Tarot. Not everything will be right for you, and you might prefer other tools, so as always, take what resonates, and leave what doesn’t. It’s also designed to be practical, with daily to-do lists and gratitude practises.

This challenge was first hosted on Facebook, but is currently arranged as a self-paced challenge with all your resources included.

What is a ‘spiritual homemaker’?

A ‘homemaker’ is anyone who manages a household – you don’t have to be a mother, to be a homemaker. Characteristics of the spiritual homemaker include:

> the creation of a safe, loving environment for yourself and your family/children/pets;

> a connection to Source/God/The Universe and practises that align with that, and;

> a reverence for the the Earth and nature, and a commitment to reducing our impact on Her, for ourselves and future generations.
