This week we’re taking ACTION. I’ve introduced you to Though + Word + Action = Creation, and this is the week for Action. Why do I say that? Because the Moon is now in the Waxing Gibbous phase. All those plans you’ve been writing down and planning, envisioning, organising the steps, you need to be acting on them. Monday 11th: Fast moving Mercury, ruler of communication, ideas, travel and more, enters grounded and stable Taurus today. If there’s been misunderstandings and the like, you can expect more measured chats, better listening, and generally more thinking before we speak. If you’re born in mid-1991 like me, your natal Mercury will conjoin our current Mercury in the next couple of weeks. (No idea what I’m talking about? Tuesday 12th: On this Mars-day, we’re likely to be challenged in pursuit of our future destiny, as Saturn in Aquarius squares the North Node in Taurus. Use this day of action, during this moon phase of action, to focus on more immediate tasks, and less on tasks that highlight your future. You can smash so much off the to-do list today. The Moon goes void from 1946* for just under 4 hours, so relax this evening, you’ve earnt it!
Wednesday 13th: Today is a lucky day for envisioning your future! Jupiter (planet of luck and growth) conjoins Neptune (planet of vision and inspiration) in creative and dreamy Pisces. This would be an amazing day to meditate and read cards and get clear on the vision of your future. The Sun in Aries also make a cosy sextile angle to Saturn in Aquarius, which will lend some discipline to your ambitions and actions today.
Thursday 14th: The Moon is currently transiting Virgo, which is keeping us practical and grounded, as we methodically work towards our goals. Virgo also reminds us to find a healthy balance in our work, life and play, so take time to review this today. (Love manifesting with the moon? Friday 15th: We start the day with the Moon void for 2 and a half hours (from 0341-0615*), before we wake to it entering balanced and loving Libra – if you’ve been needing to charm anyone, today is the day! Mars enters Pisces today too. This is going to bring a big shift in our motivations and energies. We’ve been riding the more external energies of Mars in Aquarius for a few months now, and you’ll find your motivations turning inwards. Chances are that intuition will strike hard and fast over the coming weeks – roll with it!
Saturday 16th: The Moon in Libra is a sure sign to pamper yourself. Today is an awesome day to get your nails done (take your daughter/s for the treat to!), have a relaxing bath, or finally settle down in the sun with a book at the park, while the kids enjoy the playground. Enjoy! Tonight is the night to put your crystals and cards out for that Full Moon cleansing and charging. Personally, I’ll be doing any of my Full Moon rituals and practises tonight
Sunday 17th: The Full Moon is exact at 0425* this morning, in the supportive and balanced sign of Libra. We wake to a Void of Course moon (0726-0952*), and the moon will then enter Scorpio. In my personal practise, I like to have all my Full Moon practises completed while the Moon is in the sign it makes it’s exact angle, hence why I mentioned it for yesterday. However, now that the Moon is officially waning, and the Full Moon is *the* time for gratitude and release rituals, today can be an excellent day to start freeing yourself of the tension that has built up to now. Regardless of when you choose to practise, I hope you have a magical Full Moon. Tarot card for the week: Six of Moons, reversed
Have you heard the analogy about glass and plastic balls? Basically the premise is that we are all juggling, always. Some balls are made of glass, and if we drop them, they will break. Some are made of plastic, and therefore, can survive being dropped. When it comes to juggling our lives, between family and personal, work and play, it pays to know which balls are glass and which are plastic, and let the plastic ones drop occasionally. I’m talking quality time spent with the kids, rather than another load of washing, or 20 min of mindful breathing, or a lunch break walk, rather than hustling through the next mindless task at work. When I see this card, I think of this analogy. The hand is juggling all these balls – except this week, it’s reversed, the moons are not being caught at all! This is a hard and fast reminder that you need to evaluate and make a decision about those glass and plastic balls, or the whole lot will come crashing down.
