Here’s part two of my goals for 2021, remember there’s 15 of them (hahaha what am I thinking). Part one is here and was my Personal goals, so here’s my business and work goals for the year!

Starting with an easy one again, goal #1 is to share on my social media every day. In the past, that’s been an Instagram post a day, but given the kids, I’m happy just getting things on my Stories, but I would like to get back to daily posts.

S – Share daily on IG Feed and Stories, sticking to content pillars and including one video/reel per week

M – One IG presence a day

A – Only to myself, but my Feed will allow me to keep track

R – I’ve managed this in the past, so definitely a realistic goal

T – One day at a time šŸ™‚

You’re looking at goal #2! And again, so far, I’m on track!

S – Write and share minimum one blog post per week

M – Count those posts!

A – Month one is down, and we’re well on track! And I have stacks of content ideas too

R – I’m not making the time for it that I could be, but it’s working so far, so definitely realistic at this point

T – as I said, need to focus on making time for it, but one per week, 52 weeks, that’s the time frame!

Goal #3 is Young Living business -specific: to hit the rank of Silver before the end of the year. I got within 2000 OGV (overall group volume) last November, and while I’ve dropped my total OGV at the moment, I know I can do this!

S – Hit Silver! That involves specific OGV, PV (personal volume) and leg requirements, all of which I am well-verse in, and are all currently on track, with back ups

M – Those specific targets mentioned above are my measuring stick

A – Currently maintaining 4000OGV with ease, hit 8000OGV in November 2020, and aiming for 10 000OGV. I’ve got close already, within the next 11 months, I’ve got it in the bag!

R – The expected hustle rate for YL business builders is one rank per year. I hit Executive last year, so Silver is for 2021

T – Ideally, I will hit this rank in more like June – July, but it’s very much a ‘you get out what you put in’ type business, so what I get out and when, will be determined by my efforts. end of the year (by Nov for sure) it’ll be ticked off

Goal Four is to get my home made products, many of which debuted at the Christmas Market, in a store permanently. The viability of this is not yet established, but I won’t know unless I try!

S – Get my existing products (lip balm, salts, sprays, soaps) in a store, and look into potentially branching out

M – I am terrible with bookwork, and tracking inventory, and working out if something is actually worth it, so this needs work, but hopefully things will just be walking out the door and I’ll be constantly producing, haha

A – It has potential, but this is more of a viability goal, than a end game goal, so failure is acceptable too

R – Similar to above, it definitely has potential, but I can’t see the future

T – I’m going to give myself till the end of financial year to get this up and going (that’s one big holiday period too), and review then.

My final business goal for 2021 is to restart private lessons, to generate some handy income. I have always LOVED teaching piano, so would love to restart this, now that the new house is more conducive to such a task, and I have already started babies and toddlers swimming lessons, which seem to be going well!

S – Advertise swimming and piano/music lessons (capped at 5 pupils)

M – Measured by attendance. So far, swimming is making a very small profit, after baby sitter fees and pool entry, but it’s as much an excuse to get to the pool as it is a handy $20

A – I can definitely achieve this. The effort from me, outside of face to face time, is minimal. A lot of this is really second nature because I’ve been doing it so long. It isn’t something that requires a huge output, for good returns.

R – Yet to be seen with piano lessons, but it’s been realistic in the past. One can only hope for now

T – Swimming is confined to summer, but we’re three sessions in, with all of Feb, and likely March to go. Depending on how successful it is, will depend on next seasons plans. Piano, I will keep advertising monthly in the Town Crier until I hit 5 pupils. If I seriously have nothing come June, well that settles it!

These goals feel GOOD right now. Again, like the personal goals, I’m on track with quite a few!
