Anyone else terrified that it is APRIL?! But the wheel keeps turning, and the planets keep moving across the heavens, and we have no choice but to move with it!
Last Sunday night, Mercury moved into Aries, continuing this huge shift in energies as the Sun entered Aries last week too. This week, the New Moon will transit Aries as well. This is the most fire-starter energy you will experience. If you’ve been sitting on your hands for any reason, you need to toss those excuses NOW. April also signals the last month of 2022 where there are no planets in retrograde – that’s right. There are NO PLANETS IN RETROGRADE. No excuses. As of the first of April, get it done!

Monday 28th: We start the week pretty chill – no collective angles today! The Sun is in Aries, Moon in Aquarius, and Mercury entered Aries last night. As today is Moon-day, whatever intuitive feelings and thoughts are popping up, notice them. Write them down, share them with someone. All this cardinal, fire energy is going to be getting you hopped up, but I recommend restraint. The Moon is waning. This is down time.
Tuesday 29th: The Moon goes void at 0041* and is there until 1501* when it enters Pisces. That’s over 14 hours. Honour that. Remember what I was saying about fire-starter energy from the 1st. Take the rest time that’s given to you! The first of the weeks conjunctions happens today, when Mercury is conjunct Saturn in Aquarius. This could signal difficulty communicating clearly, but the Moon is void, so you’re avoiding communicating about anything too important anyway, right? The North Node in Taurus gets cosy with Neptune in Pisces too, so visualising your future destiny, dreaming about it, that’s the closest to working I wanna see today.
Wednesday 30th: Wednesday is Mercury’s day, communication, travel, ideas day. Venus in Aquarius squares off with the North Node in Taurus, signaling potential conflict in your relationships, partnerships, and the path to your future destiny. Make sure to take clear, slow, deliberate movements today, especially when communicating, especially with colleagues. Write the email, but don’t hit send.
Thursday 31st: The day before the New Moon is considered the Dark, or Balsamic Moon. If you thought Mercury retrogrades or void Moon times were down time. it’s got nothing on Dark Moons. This is the calm before the storm. As the Moon starts the day in mysterious Pisces, this is an awesome day to just spend time with the cards, not necessarily with any spread or goal in mind, just, see what comes up (don’t have cards, or not confident in reading them? Click here to book a reading). The Moon is also Void from 1706 to 2000* tonight (just under 3 hours). I would go to bed as early as you can. Definitely no screens from 5pm, deal? If New Moon water or charging is your thing, crystals and jars out tonight!
Friday 1st April: Because BOOM! New Moon in Aries babayyyy!!! Yesterday, when you went to bed early, the Moon entered Aries. The Sun – Moon conjunction that signals the New Moon is exact at 1654*. I’ve been talking this up for two weeks – I. Am. Excited. For me, this is the true start of the zodiacal new year. Spend time in your journal, write out your intentions (how you want to feel), your goals (what you want to achieve/receive) and actions (how you’re going to get there) for the short (1 month), medium (6 months) and long term (12 months). By writing these down, you will have something to look back on, either to bring you back to your actions, to review and change, or to celebrate how far you’ve come! Seriously. If there’s one message you take away from this weeks blog, it’s start writing this stuff down!
Saturday 2nd: Just to throw a spanner in the works (because the cosmos are never going to let us get on with it easily, we’ve got lessons to learn!), this beautiful Sun in Aries goes conjunct with Chiron today. Chiron is the wounded healer, and signifies our healing, past wounds, traumas and fears. Conjunct the Sun in Aries, and on a Saturday (ruled by Saturn, planet of challenge and discipline), hints that something is going to come up, and you’re not going to be able to avoid it. This might be personal, or (given it’s a collective transit) collective. We may not know the impact for a few days.
Sunday 3rd: Continuing the Chiron conjunction theme, Venus will also conjoin this asteroid today. If it didn’t already, this is going to bring partnerships into the mix. It’s Sun-day though, so it should have a lighter feel than yesterday. Mercury also conjoins the Sun in Aries today, easing and paving the way for communication. This might be talking to your partner, or a friend; getting vulnerable about your fears and hurts; making the call to speak to a therapist or trusted professional; journaling, or; speaking to your guides. Let the communication flow (because guess what planet conjoins Chiron tomorrow). Short void of course Moon today too, but for us in Aus, it’s 0021-0220*, so not something to worry about, and entering Taurus will help ground us today.

Tarot card for the week: The Empress
The Empress signifies growth for the seeds we’ve planted, abundance for our efforts, and arguably, pregnancy, but that’s just growth and fertility too, right!? It’s a card of nurture, or care – look how gently the hands hold the flower. This care reminds us that with the right care and efforts, we can bring anything to life. The addition of the symbols for Venus and Libra highlight the love (and money), and balance that are bother what comes before, and from, our Empress mindset. I am so excited for this energy this week. The message to take care of yourself, nurture yourself and the seeds you plant, and growth and abundance will be yours!
